Taisho Frank W. Dux.

In 1980, long before the excessive interest in ninjas, Hanshi Frank W. Dux created Dux Ryu Ninjutsu, the first American System of Ninjutsu, which later became known by its short name, Dux Ryu.
His incomparable experience is what has transformed Hanshi Frank W. Dux into what he is today, without a doubt one of the most recognized, respected, and acclaimed authorities worldwide in combat strategies and techniques.
His firsthand knowledge in real combat situations inevitably compelled Hanshi Frank W. Dux to adapt, improvise, improve, and change his fighting style, not only to prevail in professional encounters where there were no rules, but also to overcome deadly threats he faced as an undercover agent, as well as by evaluating and implementing techniques as a consultant for elite military groups and law enforcement agencies around the world.
Frank W. Dux is recognized as one of the individuals who contributed in a fundamental manner to the creation, implementation, and evaluation of the CFC (K431-0097) combat manual “For Special Warfare Operations,” used by the United States Navy SEALs.
It is worth highlighting that, by his own merit and dedication, the Order of St. Michael granted Frank Dux the title of “Knight Chevalier” at the Police Hall of Fame in Miami, Florida.
The real-life feats and unparalleled courage of Frank W. Dux have been officially recognized by the Government of the United States of America in a military ceremony held on March 24, 2011, in Nicholasville, Kentucky, during which he was decorated with two titles: Colonel and Admiral of the State of Kentucky.
Part of Frank W. Dux’s undercover work is documented in the book “The Secret Man,” published by HarperCollins in 1996, and simultaneously with the official recognition of his covert service, the documentary “Put Up Your Dux” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, in which various decorated, high-ranking military officers attest to the work of Frank W. Dux as an undercover operative in service to his country, considering him “one of the most lethal undercover agents in the United States.”
